Corel today announced the first public beta of Winzip 11 that could possibly tempt the customer base of WinRAR to shift loyalties. Here's a quick summary of new features introduced in Winzip 11 that are worth noting:» You can view the Image thumbnails right inside Winzip without first extracting the images from the Zip file.
» Winzip 11 can open and extract BZ2 and RAR formats though you will still need Winrar to create RAR files.
» The Winzip interface is completely redesigned and resemble more like the standard Windows Explorer.
