AOL Coming to India, Fires CTO Maureen Govern

According to ContentSutra, AOL is gearing up to start operations in India very soon. They have already hired some key staff and may launch all AOL products/services here. In another major development, AOL has fired the Chief Technology Officer, Maureen Govern, along with the researcher who released the data and the manager overseeing the research. The Executive bio of Maureen from AOL Corporate website has been erased though it's still available in Google Cache.

According to Bloomberg, John McKinley, whom Govern replaced last year, is returning to the role of chief technology officer.
